SuperValley is an exploration into the potential transformation of the Alpine-padano-adriatic mega region in the North of Italy, toward an Agro ecological laboratory, where a new architecture of the agrarian space arises from the ashes of the industrial and extractive landscape of agriculture of today.
The photographic, together with a cartographic work, helps to portray the intrinsic characteristics, criticalities and potential of these spaces before imagining their futures.
SuperValley is an ongoing research work of PhD Canditate Filippo LaFleur, supported by Politecnico di Milano and Delft University of Technology.
The collaboration with photographer Riccardo De Vecchi will produce an Atlas visually supporting and completing the research work.
